Richard Tonkin is a co-founder and the Executive Director. He served as President of the Board of Directors for Rosa Montoya Bailes Flamenco, San Francisco for 5 years. He has more than 30 years of arts production experience and retired from his work as a special education teacher to work full-time for the company in 2010. His 40-year career in multicultural education includes working in non- profit administration for Edgewood Children Center and Bridges School to Works, both in San Francisco. He holds a BA, 1973, and Masters Degree, 1984, in counseling, and several teaching credentials from San Francisco State University.

Please contact Tachiria office to determine the availability of Tachiria Flamenco’s Dance & Music Company for future engagements. The fees for our services range depending on the program, number of engagements, length of engagement, number of Flamenco artists required and distance to which the company travels for the engagement.
It is our goal to reach as many communities and schools as possible with our unique performances and education programs. If there are other schools or organizations within your area that could benefit from our programs around the same time of your event, we often negotiate a fee based on multiple engagements within one area.
